Following a show in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday, Justin Bieber tried some of the local fare, eating what would make most people squeamish.
The singer reportedly tried traditional deep-fried haggis — a combination of sheep heart, liver, and lungs minced with onion, oatmeal, spices, stock and salt — along with a side of fries.
Although the meal may sound less than appealing to some, Bieber dug right in at the counter of Blue Lagoon Fish & Chips. “We are very privileged he chose us to have his Saturday night feast,” owner Simone Varese told The Sun. “Justin came in with a cap on and two bouncers with him. He was in good spirits and very excited about trying the local cuisine.”

The outing seemed like a welcome distraction from an otherwise stressful world tour. Bieber recently penned a letter to his fans after he stormed off stage during his show in England on Oct. 23, telling fans to stop screaming when he is talking in between songs.
“People tend to want to shut you down. What I mean by that is … people try to twist things, some people don’t want to listen,” he wrote. “But I simply feel like, if I didn’t use this platform to say how I truly feel, and if I didn’t use this platform to be the man that I know I am, and speak from what’s in my heart, then I’m doing myself injustice, and I’m not doing anybody in this audience any justice.”
The pop star is next set to perform in Dublin on Tuesday night.
